    Some people may think they are just being nosey, but the truth is that there is a lot to learn by what your neighbors get out of their homes. In fact, you simply cannot go without knowing these figures, if you are interested in your own property?s value.

    Every year, the homes in your area sell and are bought. However, you may not know how much each house is sold for. If you read the paper daily, you probably know that most real estate transactions are listed in many papers. This will be the easiest way to find out what your neighbor?s house sells for. You can often find them by address and even see the person?s name that bought it.

    Section of car park solely for outpatients?

    DURING recent weeks much debate has been given in Viewpoint to the problems of car parking at Scunthorpe General Hospital, the subject of which I have proffered my views on several occasions and have received criticism which I can accept.

    My main interest in this problem is that of an outpatient attending a clinic.

    Many suggestions have been put forward such as patients using the park and ride service but this was ruled out due to insurance constraints.

    There is the shuttle bus service from the town centre but I consider this futile, having to drive into town, passing the hospital entrance and then having to park up and walk to the bus station to catch a bus to bring me back to the hospital.

    Taxi fares make the journey prohibitive also.

    Finally, to bow out of this debate, may I respectfully make one last suggestion which would help the situation.

    Would it not be possible to allocate a section of car park solely for the use of outpatients and using the appointment letter as proof . I realise that this would require the service of an attendant to supervise but I feel it must be feasible and should deserve some consideration.

    In the evening we spent some time at the pool. The pool was also very basic, not really resorty, but served its purpose. A full golf course is adjacent to the property but we did not take advantage of that. In the morning, continental breakfast was included. It was not very good. The coffee was bad. The view from the Arches restaurant though, where breakfast is served is absolutely magnificent. Service was quite solid.

    All in all, for the price, this was a pretty good place to stay. When visiting Borrego Springs again, we would strongly consider staying here again. Note: The web site for the resort is very well done and looks much better than the actual place.

    Three of the “king-size” suites offer sun rooms and eating areas. Two of the “king-size” suites have fireplaces. Sleeper sofas are available in two of the rooms. All the rooms are designed to accommodate families. There are also TVs and VCRs in each room, and the Chalet has a library of videos.     I turned to see my two year old standing in the kitchen with his pajama top on and nothing else save for my black high heels! He opened his mouth with a wide grin to reveal a piece of dog food kibble neatly tucked behind the tip of his tongue. He knew our yellow lab?s food was off limits, so this made it all the more delicious.

    The seasons of love and laughter have sped by and now as the teenage years are underway, this spring we finally spent a week cleaning out broken toys, dress-up pirate hats and swords, and nightlights that are no longer needed, to be replaced with posters of fast cars, swimming ribbons and snowboarding photos.

    ?What about this old stuff??

    What develops is the false self and that is codependency. When I focus on getting your approval, I lose approval of self, which is the power that self-esteem gives me. In losing my power, I lose me. I lose my voice. I lose me.

    Loss of self occurs when I am focused on fixing, helping, understanding, caretaking you and not on caring about me. For me to not lose self I need to care about you not for you. My job is to care about me. I need to feel with you not for you. You are responsible for feeling your own feelings not me.
